Cheap frames can look nice at first but bend easily or become loose after a few weeks. now i try to read as many real user reviews as possible before i buy anything. if the first order is a disaster i prefer to move on and not waste time with support. recently i have been testing several online eyewear shops to compare frames and lenses. if anyone is interested in real user experiences i sometimes write short notes about the shops i test. you can find one of the pages here: check this link nobody wants pretty shoes that hurt after ten minutes of walking. everyone has different expectations but real photos and detailed comments are useful for everyone. i think this is one of the few real advantages we have compared to shopping blindly. clear product descriptions save time and reduce the chance of disappointment. sometimes i still make mistakes with size so a friendly exchange policy is very helpful. if they ignore basic questions or reply with copy pasted text i become suspicious. hope this helps someone.
